Our 2022 Shamus Rosé is a delightful blend of 83% Sangiovese and 17% Dolcetto from the Texas High Plains. Its vibrant color and refreshing aromatics have quickly made this dry rosé a favorite among wine lovers.
The grapes were gently pressed for just a few hours to achieve the ideal hue. To preserve its bright aromatics and fresh fruit flavors, the juice underwent a slow fermentation at 58°F in stainless steel, enhanced with untoasted French oak chips, for seven months.
This lovely rosé offers enticing aromas of raspberry, cherry, and strawberry. Light-bodied and refreshing, it boasts medium-plus acidity and a smooth, lingering finish.
Perfect for a summer picnic or backyard barbecue, the 2022 Shamus Rosé pairs beautifully with lighter fare such as fresh fruit, grilled or roasted vegetables, and seafood hot off the grill.
